We had seen Vegas Nights play at a few functions before we booked them for our wedding last December. There was always an exceptional atmosphere when the band where playing so we decided that they would be perfect for our wedding. To deal with Dave and his band was a pleasure and they made the whole process easy for us and answered any questions we had about music, lighting etc. Their set is the best I have seen in many years and the night of our wedding was made even more special because of the energy and professionalism they brought to the stage. The songs suited all ages and from our point of view they made the wedding for us as the crowd never left the dance floor from start to finish. That was our biggest worry, as is the case at most weddings. What if no one dances? Well for us the question was will we ever get the chance to sit down? All band members can sing and are gifted musicians so the range of music they can play is fantastic. All we can say is that Vegas Nights are absolutely unbelievably the only choice you can have for your wedding, we can guarantee that they will make the day even more special than you can imagine and people are still talking about them to this day after our wedding.

Theresa's singing during the ceremony (especially the Foo Fighters 'Everlong') was incredible, the sax and bass music during the drinks reception was both atmospheric and subtle at the same time but as for the main event - wow, we were blown away, as were our guests at how phenomenal Theresa and Peter and the band were all night, the vocals were amazing, the pace was perfect and as a result the dance floor was hopping all night. We received so many compliments about the music from so many of our guests. Thanks too for letting our friend Audrey play drums and for letting the flower girls find their inner rock stars!!!

we saw them by accident in February when we went to see another band for our wedding. There were two weddings on in the hotel! We both thought they were brilliant and would have booked them but they were not available for our date. We were very disappointed as they are really nice and had the dance floor rocking.
"We had originally wanted a different band but went to a function and saw them and both of us thought they were great. They had everyone up at a do and it was a Wednesday night, people were heading to work the next morning. That was a good test for any band!!"

We are just back from honeymoon. Back to reality and a recession it seems but keeping optimistic and living by our memories of our Big Day on 13th September 2008 in Ballykealey Manor House Hotel.
It was a fabulous day made all the better by all our music and trimmings. Our band was Vegas Nights and they were absolutely fantastic. People kept saying they could not believe how many people stayed on the dance floor all night. There was a good mix of music - sufficient waltzes, jives etc. for older crowd but loads of excellent mix for younger folk.
A lot of our wedding group got delayed coming to hotel from church (lost actually) so the dinner was delayed which meant the band did not get to start until well after 10. But they were brilliant and actually played on extra time for us to make up.
I would highly recommend them as well as our chair covers company and cupcake/cake maker so I will post separate postings on them. Ballykealey was absolutely fantastic too I have to say and Angela and Ian took superb care of us - a great venue.
If you are looking forward to your big day I am so jealous. I wish we could do it all over again.

Vegas Nights played at my wedding on Friday last and they were spectacular. The floor was full all night. Everyone surrounded us as we danced to our first dance and just about stayed off the floor but after that it was jammed all night. It was a Scottish/Irish wedding and at one stage I saw David (lead singer) holding onto the speakers in fear that they were going to fall over. We had a marquee wedding in my parent's garden (hence the unsteady speakers) and I have heard that some of the neighbours drove down to the front gates of our house and sat there listening to the band play.
You don't need to worry about suggesting music they know exactly how to get the crowd going. They are worth double what they charge, they are amazing. I have seen them perform 3 times now and they have been fantastic each time. Go with them!!
